Elul Stickers

Posted by The ShtarkShirts Project Blog on

Members of D'veykus – The Jewish Sticker Club received the following four stickers for Elul.

Elul Rose – The name of the Hebrew month "אלול" -  Elul is an acronym for the verse "אני דודי ודודי לי" (I for my beloved, my beloved for me). As we begin to reflect on our relationships with others and God in anticipation of the Yamim Noraim (Days of Awe), we remember that love is an essential part of cultivating positive relationships and asking forgiveness.

Shabbes! - Get hype for the holiest day of the week!

Let it Cook – An ode to the popular Gen Z term. Don't disturb the chulent, let it cook.

Eat Good! – A riff off the Yiddish saying "Think good and it will be good." This sticker reads "Eat Good and it will be Good." As we approach Rosh Hashana, we enjoy a number of delicacies that set the stage for a year of indulgences. We should pray that we have the right intention in enjoying these delights to strengthen our souls and open ourselves to the goodness of the world!
